The Atomos Ninja V 5″ 4K HDMI Recording Monitor is a 5-inch on-camera monitor/recorder that records and displays DCI 4K, UHD 4K and HD video from purpose-built mini SSDs.
Formats supported by Atamos Ninja: ARRI Log C – Canon CLog / CLog Fuji F-Log -Sony SLog2 / SLog3 – Panasonic Vlog – RED LogFilm – JVC JLog
Frame rate and Recording format Ninja 5 records high-resolution 4K images in UHD formats up to 60 fps, including 24 and 25 fps. All recordings are stored as 10-bit 4:2:2 high quality Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR files.
Recording time provides approximately 150 minutes of image recording time on a 1TB SSD disk.
It has a 10-bit FRC IPS display with 1000 cd/m² brightness, making it suitable for use in both outdoor and indoor environments. AtomHDR display technology lets you accurately view your log gamma footage without viewing flat, washed-out images or using LUTs to compress dynamic range and color space. The monitor supports popular recording formats from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED and JVC cameras. The settings only affect viewing, recorded video remains unchanged.
Rental Reference monitor Ninja V can record up to 150 minutes of 4K video on a 1TB drive. For recording, it can record to AtomX SSDmini or standard 2.5″ SSD drives. Separately available AtomX Ethernet/NDI and SYNC Expansion Modules enable live video output over IP or wireless splicing.
You must specify in advance that you will use the Ninja 5 you rented from us as an on-camera monitor or recorder.
